shirts

Here are some little thangs that Foxtrot and I are thinking about doing for shirts, yeah? Yeah. These aren't the colors that they would be (unless you like it but, we can do whatever color tickles yer pickle.) Let us know what ya'll think or, if yer good with the graphics, make yer own.

Any opinions, ideas or other junk like that... let us know. These are just fonts from Picnik... and, if ya'll know how to download AND use new fonts please, share the magic. Cause, I can download the heck out of them but,   Christ on a cracker I can't figure out where they go.

the Three Musketeers: Predictable, Pirate-ey and utterly Entertaining

Well, well... looks like Miss Motherbird is ACTUALLY doing a review...

My theatre had about six people in it, my group making up half of them. As terribly excited as I was, I was a little disappointed that no one really knew any of the actors and hadn't seen them in anything prior. The casting in Musketeers was... superb. Matthew Macfayden (Pride and Prejudice, Pillars of the Earth), Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans and the upcoming Immortals), Ray Stevenson (Rome, Thor, King Arthur), Til Schweiger (Inglourious Basterds, King Arthur), Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, King Arthur... sensing a trend here?) Orlando Bloom (Lord of the Rings, POTC), Logan Lerman (3:10 to Yuma, Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds, Water for Elephants) and Milla Chokabitch I mean... Jovovich (Resident Evil - I don't even know what number they're on anymore, Ultra Violet).

M-U-S... MUSTACHES!
Betcha thought I was gonna spell Musketeers.

Whew! Did ya get all that? I hope I didn't forget anyone...

All of these people listed above were finely, finely dressed. The costumes were, in short, AMAZING. Every little detail, thread and cut of fabric was, I can't imagine any other way, meticulously put together. The costumes Jovovich and Bloom wore were outstanding.

To match the costuming was the scenery and set department. I found myself not focusing on Christoph Waltz but, the walls behind him. It was definitely a pretty movie. Bright, shiny... sparkly. I like sparkly.

I saw this one in 2D, I only see 3D if I have to. Frankly, 2D is the way to go with this one. Usually, when watching 2D you can see what's supposed to be poppin' out atcha but... not so much. Go with the 2D, my friends.

What a sandwich. The hunk'o'meat in the middle looks a little... perturbed.
I'll trade places with him. No problemo.

Now, with all these actors you'd think that this would be some sort of AMAZA-ZING movie... meh. As entertaining as it was, and it was entertaining (and I can only blame this on the writing) but, I felt like our actors were shorted. And, the response I got from my group was that they didn't think that the actors were "very good" which, I think is... a negatory. Prior Philip, hellur? Colonel Hans Landa? Boom. Not our guys.

Which brings me to the other comments I heard in the theatre, the most repetitive one was "Does this sound a little like Pirates to you?" and yes, it does. The music, lovely as it is, sounds A LOT like Pirates.

All in all, I loved this movie. Like I said I would. Der. I could never not like this movie. Its a good one to watch with your buds, whether or not they know who Mads Mikkelsen or Ray Stevenson is. They learn :)

Go see it, guys. Its worth it :)

Did that just happen? That just happened.

Um... My mom called it. She said Juice was gonna off himself... I'm just hoping that ya know, that branch really broke.... and didn't fall on his head and crush him or something like that... or he's paralyzed and fire ants come and eat him... its gonna be a long week. I love Juice! TAKE TARA INSTEAD!

Take. Tara. Please.

Second, Bobby!? What's with that call? See? That's me, wanting to give Clay a hug and lurve him. I already do lurve him! C'mon... COME ON! I love Clay. Can you tell?

Okay... I need to take a time out and rant about Tara. I am not liking her, I never *really* liked her (love Maggie Siff, don't get me wrong... I love Maggie) but, Tara is not meant to be in that life... she's annoying me, walking around like Betty Crocker in that dumb apron pulling out bullets and what not while making a big hullabuloo about a note while our guys are getting shot at and Clay is getting voted out and Piney is cockin his sawed off shot gun and Juice is... oh lawd.

I can't handle it... seven days? Not cool.

Let's calm down...

Better? I'm better. You better? Good.

We need to pimp this ho...

Okay, so... we are the Cool Club right? Righto cheerio!

So... working on some shirt ideas and ya'll need to help me out! I'd be perfectly happy with plastering a shirt with William Fichtner and Kim Coates and being done with it but, I'm thinking not everyone would be down with that...

BOOM. Thank you Jesus.
I really don't see why we couldn't have them plastered all over our shirts...

Anyway, t-shirts people! Help me with them! We want Cool Club on the front fo sho and the address for the blog on the back but, other than that... take it way, mofos!

Speaking of Tig...

ITS TUESDAY! CAN I GET A WOOPWOOP!?

Woop. Woop. Ow. Ow.

And let's talk a little SOA here, folks. As much as I love Tig and will always be on Team Tigger... I find myself siding with Clay? Why!? I don't know why either... probably my attraction to every bad guy... but, is he really that bad? IS HE!?

Look at that... he is NOT the bad guy.
I never really liked Tara anyway...

Don't get me started on Juice... I don't know whether to hug his cutie patootie little self or slap with this hot grits... probably hug him. He needs to get with it before Chibs does...

Anyway, SOA comes on at 9 o'clock (most of our time...) tonight!

I'll be at www.tignation.net in the chatroom! BOOM.

Motherbird, Over and Out.

Just one more...

Woof. (insert dirty doctor joke here... cause I can't repeat the ones in my head)

Candy!

How is err'one? It's been awhile!

IMdB is throwing all kinds of goodies at us today, the highlight being the new Avengers trailer! *suppresses a squeal* Thor, Mr. Stark and... Captain America (I'm more interested in the first two but, apparently I only get the leftover crumbs! Foxtrot...) anyway, I have a sneakin' suspicion that I'll have a thing for Loki... I always have thing for Iron Man's enemies. Jeff Bridges, Mickey Rourke... add Mr. Hiddleston to the list.

Ray Ray is at the top of my Thor list... who doesn't love that beard!? Foxtrot, that's who. Hopefully we get another appearance in Avengers and Thor 2 :)

Until then... only a week until the Three Musketeers! Which, Foxtrot will have to judge because I will love it. I  already know it...

And, trailer number two for the day... a Star Trek blend of new Captain Kirk and Praetor Shinzon from Nemesis... and Til Schweiger who I don't think was in a Star Trek but, is utterly enjoyable none the less...

Aw... look at him all Picardy and cloned....

So... Google gave me the choice of "Chris Pine Star Trek" or "Chris Pine shirtless" ... my strength was tested today. Greatly.

Enjoy those trailers, movie douches...
